SENECA — The Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority unanimously approved a balanced budget earlier this week for fiscal year 2025-26 that takes effect on July 1. The budget provides $6,759,426 in revenue for the new budget year — about $400,000 more than the current fiscal year. OJRSA executive director Chris Eleazer said the budget was put together with a 5 percent rate increase for 2025-26, but expects the total increase to end up less than that.
