1 INTRODUCTION Monitoring and understanding the behavior and ecology of elusive and threatened wildlife is crucial for their conservation. In recent years, camera-borne collars have been increasingly used to address data gaps in ecology and natural history for a number of wildlife species, especially in the global north (Vuillaume et al., 2021).
