A 15-year-old child (referred to as RWU) from London who waspermanently excluded from his school in January 2024 and who hassince been out of full-time mainstream education is to have hiscase heard by the Court of Appeal on 6 February 2025. The Court ofAppeal ordered an 'urgent' hearing due to the importantissues involved. The child's exclusion was considered by the governing bodyof the school who upheld the exclusion.
