1. IntroductionOne of the main reasons for global death is cancer. Cancer has extensive physical and emotional effects on the lives of patients. Treatment costs also pose several challenges to healthcare systems and patients. Cancer screening is a form of secondary prevention that reduces tumor progression and cancer-related mortality. The main goals of cancer treatment are to increase quality of life and to prolong survival.
