Adelman was impressive under difficult circumstances. He had a message to get across but also answered every question that came his way balancing a tone of confidence, responsibility and humility for what Malone did and this opportunity in front of him.

David Adelman’s press conference was tremendous. He was gracious & grateful & you can tell he’s ready to run this team. He feels the players are going to make something of this. They talked about still having a chance to do something special & the guys seemed convinced of that.

David Adelman says everyone plays a role in blame for the Nuggets struggles and that finger shouldn’t be pointed at who isn’t with the Nuggets anymore. Everyone has been best in their new roles to get the Nuggets back on track.

David Adelman says changing the vibe in the final three games with the Nuggets is the thing that needs to change. Adelman says Josh Kroenke’s message to the team is to be better. Adelman thanked Michael Malone, all Malone has done for him and the franchise.

Sources say ownership felt like team needed a jolt in hopes of still making a run and that vibes had not been good. There was an expectation things were likely to change with either Malone and/or Booth after season due to what sources described as a “cold war” between the two.
