President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday inaugurated the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) digital industrial park in Ogun State, aimed at making Nigeria a global leader in digital infrastructure, talent development, and innovation. The Ogun State Government, in collaboration with Global Health Charity and Training Foundation and Remo Growth and Development Foundation, has organised free surgical and medical health services for more than 2,000 residents of the state. This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, who stated that the medical outreach which commenced on Monday would run for four days, adding that all indigents and indigenes of the state are open to benefit from the programme.

In an effort to enhance the working capacity of journalists in Ogun State, the Senator representing Ogun Central, Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, has donated a 12KW 48V/200A solar power electricity system to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council. The lawmaker also illuminated the Iwe Irohin Secretariat of the Union, in Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta, with ten solar-powered streetlights.
