Harrell -- an eight-year NBA veteran and one-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year -- will return to the 36ers team he averaged 20.5 points and 9.3 rebounds for over the 2024-25 NBL season, helping to guide them to a sixth-place finish and a spot in the play-in.

    When most people scoured through the NBA Draft Combine testing measurements, the number that immediately jumped off the page was 7'3". That's how tall Rocco Zikarsky measured without shoes, making him the tallest prospect in the 2025 draft. The general rule is that you add just over an inch -- factoring in shoes -- to determine a player's official listed height, so that bumps that number up to 7'4". He's huge, even for an NBA centre.     STOCKHOLM -- The United States beat Sweden 6-2 to advance to the final of the ice hockey world championship on Saturday. In Sunday's final, the U.S. will play either Switzerland or Denmark, who meet in the other semifinal later in the day. The U.S. jumped to a 2-0 lead with a dominant display in the opening period, outshooting the Swedes 13-3. Brady Skjei put the Americans ahead 6:52 into the game with a shot from the blue line that went through heavy traffic in front of goaltender Jacob Markstrom.

    STOCKHOLM -- Conor Garland's two power-play goals helped the United States beat Finland 5-2 to reach the semifinals of the ice hockey world championship on Thursday. Trailing 2-1 in the middle period, the Americans needed 71 seconds to turn things around when defenseman Zeev Buium put home a rebound at 23:53 before Garland's second goal restored the U.S. lead.
