Alan Shearer has responded to the possibility of Newcastle United playing Premier League games outside of England, revealing the change will be 'inevitable' at some stage. It comes following FIFA had given the greenlight for 'out of territory matches' last month, which could result in pressure being applied on the Premier League to play games abroad in the coming years. The change would see major European leagues allowing fixtures to take place overseas, including the United States.

Simon Jordan has told Newcastle United to demand as much money as possible from Manchester United for the services of Dan Ashworth should he make the move to Old Trafford. Reports have claimed Ashworth accepted the role with Saturday's FA Cup winners in a secret exchange with incoming chief executive Omar Berrada via email before the club made a formal approach to the Magpies. The Tyneside club confirmed the 53-year-old had begun a period of gardening leave in February.

Amadou Diallo has confirmed that he will leave Newcastle United next month upon the expiration of his current contract at St James' Park. The 21-year-old joined the Magpies from fellow Premier League side, West Ham United, in October 2022. He made a number of appearances for the club's Under-21's side, receiving his first taste of first-team action when he was named on the bench for Newcastle's away triumph over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.

Everton are reportedly showing interest in highly-rated Newcastle United winger Yankuba Minteh. The 19-year-old signed for the Magpies from Danish club, Odense Boldklub,for £6million last summer. Once the ink had dried on his five-year contract, the Gambian international was immediately loaned out to Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, working with new Liverpool head coach, Arne Slot.
