Reverie World Studios has announced its upcoming real-time grand strategy game, Knights of the Crusades, will be hitting Steam Early Access in May. Knights of the Crusades blends real-time strategy, city-building, and sandbox gameplay into one package. It’s set during the First Crusade (1096-1099) where you plot a course across Europe and into the Holy Land to participate in the various battles and events that charted this era. The game will be hitting Steam Early Access on May 5th, 2025.

Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment are collaborating on a Star Wars game with Lucasfilm Games. Star Wars Zero Company is set to be a turn-based tactics game, and will release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Rumours of a new Star Wars game developed by Respawn have festered for a few months now, but this week saw the official announcement of Star Wars Zero Company. While details are still light, a first look reveal will occur during Star Wars Celebration later this week.

PlayStation Plus has received a price hike in certain regions, and it's prompting players to cancel their subscriptions in protest. This is not the first time PlayStation Plus has received a price increase, as the service last received one back in 2023. This saw annual prices rise by as much as $20 for certain tiers. The economy is in a rough shape right now, and prices of almost everything seem to be going up.

Wolverine has returned in a new video from Marvel, in what is probably his most confusing appearance to date. Hugh Jackman's Logan officially entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he starred in last year's Deadpool & Wolverine. With the film joking about Marvel making him do this "until he's 90", it seemed certain that more Wolverine appearances were on the way. Deadpool & Wolverine has been one of the best Marvel projects of the past few years.

A new RPG that looks like a mix of Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and Skyrim is launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding. Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley are a match made in heaven. With both belonging to the "cosy gaming" genre, their influence is found in a whole roster of other games. Similarly, Skyrim has become one of the biggest RPGs of all time. While we're still waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6, we've seen a bunch of new RPGs come about that clearly take inspiration from it.
