Ace comedian, Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, has revealed that he has given up on trying to reconcile with his colleague, Basketmouth. AY and Basketmouth have been at odds for 17 years, and AY recently disclosed that the rift was over a N30,000 gig. During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, AY claimed that his issue with Basketmouth began in 2006 when Basketmouth failed to pay him the agreed-upon N30,000 for standing in for him at an event.

The City of Houston in the United States of America, USA, has declared July 7th as Davido Day in honour of Nigerian superstar singer, Davido. The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, made the proclamation in a statement that was made public on Friday in Houston, Texas. “I, Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the city of Houston, do hereby proclaim July 7, 2023, as Davido Day.” He declared.
