JAMB stated this in reaction to a misleading publication regarding the UTME examination. The report claimed candidates cannot sit for the examination outside their state of registration. In a statement by the Public Communication Advisor, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin on Wednesday, he said the information disseminated by a news medium is incorrect.

The Dangote Refinery has again reduced its refined product prices to make them cheaper, cutting its ex-depot rate to ₦835 per litre. The new price represents a ₦30 reduction from ₦865 per litre implemented six days ago, marking a 3.5 per cent decrease, and a ₦45 reduction from the ₦880 per litre sold by the facility last Wednesday. This price cut marks Dangote’s third downward adjustment in under six weeks. The refinery informed its customers in a notice sent out on Wednesday morning.

The Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State oversight, today sent an invitation to the state’s Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.) to appear before it on Thursday for an interactive session. This was confirmed in a statement signed by the Spokesman of the House, Akin Rotimi (Jnr), on Wednesday. The 21-member committee chaired by the House Leader, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, was inaugurated by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen on Tuesday.
