(Bloomberg) -- Colombian inflation unexpectedly jumped in April in an unwelcome surprise for policymakers who restarted monetary easing last week. The annual inflation rate accelerated to 5.16%, from 5.09% in March. That was higher than expected by all 25 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, whose median forecast was 5.00%.
