With some strong performances and clever references I thoroughly enjoyed, and others I couldn't care less about, I'm giving Mickey 17 this weird-ass rating of 3 stars and a like. First of all, Rob Pattinson is phenomenal in this. It's always exciting to see him push his own boundaries. The accent and voice he pulls off here—that cartoonish nasal twang—is just another proof of how his performances are always built on small character details.
