The East Durham Irish Festival, one of the longest-running in the U.S., is celebrating its 48th year in 2025. And this year's Memorial Day weekend festival is lining up "non stop Irish performers" on four stages Saturday and Sunday May 24 and 25, and a Friday free festival kick off sing song session at 6 p.m. Michael English, I Draw Slow, the Prodigals, Irish Lassies and over 20 bands and performers are the ingredients for a rousing Irish Music Experience, said a release from organizers.
