The Labor Party has been returned in a historic, landslide win in Australia’s federal election, with the opposition leader losing his own seat – as did the last remaining Irish-born MP in parliament. While all recent polling said Labor, under prime minister Anthony Albanese, was likely to retain power, nobody predicted the extent of the victory, which could see it hold up to 93 of the parliament’s 150 seats.

On April 3rd, exactly a month before Australians go to the polls in an election on Saturday, the country’s Labor prime minister Anthony Albanese fell off a stage while campaigning in New South Wales. Worried about looking weak compared to opposition leader Peter Dutton – a no-nonsense former police officer – Albanese was still denying three weeks later that the incident, clearly caught on camera, was a fall.

An outraged tourist has gone on a shocking violent rampage in the Nusa Medica medical clinic in Bali, leaving patients and staff fearing for their safety. Disturbing video of the incident posted to Instagram showed a man wearing only his underpants screaming out at others, and already clearly some way into his spree.
