    HONOLULU (KHON2) — On March 3, President Donald Trump announced that 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada will go into effect the next day. However, products from China also have an added tariff, which is concerning to many local businesses. While importers and exporters were invited to learn more about market opportunities in the region at a trade seminar on March 3 at Pier 9, the White House announced an additional 10% tariff, doubling the current tax on Chinese goods.
