(DC News Now) — The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said two 18-year-olds were arrested after brandishing a gun at an elementary school in Hybla Valley on Thursday afternoon. Police said that on Feb. 27 at about 2:55 p.m., they responded to Mount Vernon Woods Elementary School for the report of a brandishing. Some students said they saw two men on school property, with one of them displaying a handgun.

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police (MSP) said it is investigating after a 4-year-old was killed in a crash in Wicomico County. Police said that just before 8 a.m. on Feb. 26, they received a report of a two-car crash on Route 13 and Stockyard Road. A 4-year-old girl and her father were injured and transported to the hospital. The girl was pronounced dead on Thursday. She was identified as Kinsley Parks, of Crisfield, Maryland.
