Introduction The 2030 Agenda, compiled by the United Nations, contains a collection of goals that promote a sustainable future if pursued worldwide.1 These goals regard all human beings and their societies, the world economy, the urban areas, the natural ecosystems, and the climate, which are instances of Complex Systems.2 Therefore, it is clear that if we desire a sustainable future, we cannot ignore our need to deal with Complex Systems.
