REVIEW – Ever since my first e-bike, I’ve been kind of obsessed with them. Ask my family. I have four e-bikes in my garage right now. I love riding a bike to the park, running quick errands, and enjoying the outdoors. I’ve had basic e-bikes, long-range e-bikes, and even folding e-bikes. When the Heybike Alpha All-Terrain e-bike was released, it grabbed my attention. It’s a fat tire e-bike, not with a typical rear-wheel hub motor, but a mid-drive motor. What did that mean?

REVIEW – Since my last review of a keyboard for The Gadgeteer (Royal Kludge S98), I have become quite a fan of the modern mechanical keyboard. I’m learning as much as I can about the different switch types, and what makes a mechanical keyboard good for me. Everyone has different preferences. The most significant requirement for me is the ability to switch from one device to another – QUICKLY. I use a PC for work, and a Mac personally.

REVIEW – As I get older, these old hands have started to develop a little arthritis and using hand tools have gotten a little more difficult and painful. Screwdrivers, one of the most basic of home hand tools, are especially more difficult. I have found myself reaching for a drill with a screwdriver bit attachment to get most jobs done pain free. However, using a drill like that can very easily strip or break the screw.

REVIEW – Have traditional tape measures run their course, and do they need improvement? Although I wasn’t entirely convinced, the folks at REEKON Tools have convinced me otherwise. I’ve been a semi-professional woodworker for quite a few years (making some side cash on woodworking makes me a semi-professional, right?) Anyway, every project I have worked on, from small to large, has required one consistent tool to be in my tool bag. The tried-and-true, retractable tape measure.
