    Since taking office, Pres. Donald Trump has eliminated diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within federal agencies. His administration is now attempting to eliminate DEI from any institution that receives federal grants, even if the institution is privately run. Last month, Sacred Heart University (SHU) in Fairfield, Conn., had a $3.38 million grant revoked by the U.S. Department of Education as part of their opposition to DEI efforts.

    Apple’s first foray into the virtual reality/augmented reality space, the Apple Vision Pro, was released in the US on February 2nd, 2024; however, there hasn’t been any news or announcements regarding when it might be released here in New Zealand.  Typically, the latest technology products come here either very late or not at all. Sometimes, even the biggest technology companies don’t bother releasing their products here; just look at the Google Pixel 8.
