    Some cliche somewhere said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. “Awesome Art We’ve Found Around The Net” is the outlet for that passion. In this column, I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That’s the aim.

    You do not want to look back on your university years and wish you had done things differently. While it is important to focus on school, especially if you plan on pursuing post-graduate education, you need to make time for fun and extracurriculars. You will make the best memories from time spent with friends and doing fun activities, not at your desk. If you are too focused on school, you could miss out on some great experiences and friendships.

    You may have heard that sports are 90% mental and 10% physical; I would argue that this is true for most things, especially university. The more motivated, interested, focused, and energized you are, the more capable of performing well in the classroom you will become. The battle is almost entirely within your mind. This is why it is necessary to take care of your mind and take the necessary steps to overcome the mental barriers that may become more prevalent in your final year.

    LocationLocation is one factor that can make or break your level of focus. Firstly, having a designated study space, or multiple designated study spaces where you know you can focus well can be useful. This has helped me over the years. Understanding what environments bring you the most (or least) focus can help you determine where you should study; ask yourself if you focus better in isolation, around others, in silence, or with some noise/activity.
