    + Cade Povich had a strong finish to his 2024 season - what's next? Looking at his season numbers, 2024 was a season to forget for Cade Povich —a 5.20 ERA and 4.79 FIP in 79.2 innings are mediocre numbers, at best. Still, Povich showed in September the potential that he showed as a top 100 prospect entering 2024—in 5 starts, Povich had a 2.60 ERA and 3.13 FIP, allowing no more than 5 hits in a start while striking out 32 in 27.2 innings.

    The world is on fire. It is ready to explode. A piece of it probably just blew up. If we are silent when someone else screams, while our brothers and sisters cry out in agony, then we are part of the problem. I am tired of being responsible or somewhat to blame or even a semi-innocent bystander. I am fed up with the well-rehearsed rhetoric of leaders who claim they want opportunity, safety and security for all people, but continue to support the way things are.

    + Oneil Cruz has been solid in 2024 - will he improve from here? Anyone who has watched Oneil Cruz take an at-bat, field a ground ball, or run the bases can tell he is immensely talented. Lots of metrics would agree with you on that; his 99th percentile average EV (95.7 mph), his 100th percentile arm strength (99.2 mph), and even his 87th percentile sprint speed (28.8 f/s) tell us that Cruz has all of the tools to succeed at the major league level.
