Sunday afternoon proved to be a wild ride for bettors who got involved with The Masters odds. Rest assured, it was equally wild for the sportsbooks. In-play odds saw crazy fluctuations, as the Rory rollercoaster ride made its way to the green jacket. "It was basically like gymnastics with numbers — we were just doing backflips constantly," Caesars Sports golf trader Anthony Salleroli said.

No question, Scottie Scheffler is a solid choice in The Masters odds this week. He’s the defending champion, going for his third green jacket in four years, and he’s the unquestioned favorite as the No. 1 player on the planet. But interestingly, at least at Caesars Sports, one of the more popular players isn’t even on the PGA Tour. "There’s been a huge tidal wave of bets on Bryson DeChambeau," Caesars golf trader Anthony Salleroli said. "People are really favoring Bryson.

A week into April, the March Madness odds market finally settled up. Unfortunately, it was a rather unfulfilling finish, with the basketball literally bouncing on the floor as the clock ran out. It would’ve been nice to see Houston at least get off a shot. A game-winning 3-pointer. A 2-pointer that tied it, sending the game to overtime. A miss that cements the outcome. But alas, nothing, giving Florida a 65-63 victory and the national title.

March Madness odds are obviously huge for the games themselves. And not just on the games themselves. Many bettors also tried to predict the future, wagering on March Madness championship odds. And some of those bettors went the full Nostradamus and put in their predictions almost a year ago. Such is the case with a Hard Rock Bet customer, who was on the brink of turning five bucks into a massive six-figure payday, until Houston’s shocking comeback knocked out Duke Saturday night in the Final Four.

March Madness odds made way for moneyline mania through much of this year’s NCAA Tournament. Or, more accurately: favorite, moneyline, parlay mania, as the public betting masses consistently cashed out. From the Sweet 16 through the first game of the Final Four — in which Florida held off Auburn — favorites went a perfect 13-0 straight up (SU). Florida’s win perfectly set up championship favorite Duke to cash another pile of moneyline parlays on Saturday night against Houston.

With Round 1 in the books, update on Masters Odds to win: @DKSportsbook: Scheffler +200/Aberg +650/Rose +700/DeChambeau +800 @CaesarsSports: Scheffler +225/DeChambeau +600/Aberg +600/Rose +650 @FDSportsbook: Scheffler +200/Aberg +700/Rose +700/DeChambeau +900 https://t.co/Tb4Y2FIm21

Holy smokes. Justin Rose is just on fire. Per @SuperBookNV's Casey Degnon, Rose closed 125/1 to win the Masters. And one perceptive customer, in late March, put $200 on the Englishman at that +12500, to win $25,000. A long way to go. But Rose looks great early. https://t.co/Bd60XViTKS
