    I’ll forever maintain that the Arizona Diamondbacks’ decision to move away from their original purple and steel colors was one of the most significant downgrades in uniforms I’ve ever seen. This weekend, I had that stray thought when I drove past Chase Field in Phoenix on my way to a baseball tournament in Mesa. By coincidence, Arizona released their newest Nike City Connect uniforms this morning, featuring those classic colors.

    Those who followed my coverage leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft know that I have had Colston Loveland as my TE1 for a while now — his complete skill set, receiving prowess, and underrated blocking ability place him at the top of the pile, even ahead of Penn State’s Tyler Warren. But those factors, as important as they are/were, did not lead to my projection of Loveland to the Bears in our final staff predictions earlier this week.
