Patrick Selwood focuses his practice on securities enforcement and litigation matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Selwood served as an Assistant US Attorney for the District of Maryland in its Civil & Criminal Divisions, where he litigated hundreds of cases in federal and state courts. He previously was a litigation associate at another international law firm. Mr. Selwood was a law clerk to both the Honorable J. Mark Coulson of the US District Court of Maryland and the Honorable Peter B. Krauser of the Appellate Court of Maryland. While in law school, Mr. Selwood spent two summers clerking for the US Department of Justice, first in the Executive Office for US Attorneys and then in the Office of the Solicitor General. He also externed for the Honorable John Fisher of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, for the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility and for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland.
