Patrick Lagreid I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together.

The Pink Telephone Booth from J. London Cigars is back for an encore appearance, albeit in a new size and as a store exclusive. The new size is a 6 3/4 x 42 short lancero that gets a pigtail cap, a longer and skinnier size than the original 4 1/2 x 54 short robusto that came out in July 2023. Jonathan Fiant, owner of J. London Cigars, told halfwheel that he thought the vitola would really make the blend shine.

Just a few months after the debut of the Volition America by Gurkha Cigars, the company has given the three lines a packaging update. Instead of presenting the 13 cigars that each box contains in a single row, they are now presented in two rows, which gives the boxes a narrower footprint in retail humidors, shrinking from 42 inches to 24 inches in width.

The Tatuaje Pork Tenderloin, one of the most notable and highly regarded cigars in Tatuaje’s history, is coming back for a limited edition run. The blend is the same as the original release, meaning a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan double binder and Nicaraguan filler. It is offered in a 5 1/8 x 52 robusto that is priced at $13 per cigar and $325 for a bundle of 25 cigars.

This year, Drew Estate was one of several companies to produce a cigar for the Lunar New Year. But if you wanted to get the cigars to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake, you likely had to get them from a retailer in Hong Kong. The cigar is the Liga Privada Único Serie Year of the Snake, a 7 x 44 lonsdale. The blend uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Connecticut corojo binder, and fillers from Brazil, Nicaragua and the United States.

Correction to an earlier Tweet, the Tatuaje TAA 2020 and Tatuaje Series P Miami P3 Short Robusto have been delayed. I erroneously mentioned the Tatuaje Adding Black Label Petite Corona BC. #mybad #meaculpa #SorryCharlie #SorryPete

Love it - great way to pass the time, do some social distancing but stay connected. RT @GodFadr: When I see people doing Tai chi in the park I like to pretend they are fighting off really slow invisible ghosts that only they can see. I can keep myself entertained for hours.
