ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Metro Atlanta school districts are bolstering their security efforts to help prevent school shootings. The emphasis comes just four months after the Apalachee High School shooting in Winder and as the country sees another school shooting in Madison, Wisconsin. "I definitely think about some of the things they're going through right now," said Ronald Applin, chief of police for Atlanta Public Schools.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - On Wednesday, the Grand Kyiv Ballet performed 'The Nutcracker' in Atlanta in a one-night-only production. ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - It's no easy task to navigate through Atlanta's airport to find your rideshare pick-up spot. After you leave your terminal, after you likely disembarked from the Plane Train, and after you picked up your bag from baggage claim, you then have to weave down a corner escalator, under a catwalk and through a parking garage to find your driver. To be fair, there are signs and often employees to help guide you along the way.
