🎓 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥—𝐈’𝐦 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞! As a 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 graduate, I come from a family where my parents didn’t have the chance to pursue education—but they gave me the wings to chase mine. I carry their dreams with me, and I hope they feel proud of the daughter they raised. Today, I’m proud to be graduating with a 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 from Arizona State University—with a 𝟒.𝟎 𝐆𝐏𝐀, and my heart is full. It wasn’t easy to get here. Behind this photo are years of effort—late nights, challenges in a new country, and sacrifices that pushed me to grow. Every step came with its own struggles, but I took them one at a time and kept moving forward. Academics have always been my strength, but ASU taught me how to lead. I stepped into roles that challenged me in new ways—serving as Vice President of the 𝐃𝐄𝐖𝐒𝐂 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, Treasurer of the IFMA Phoenix Student Chapter, and Lead Graduate Team for the 𝐍𝐀𝐇𝐁 Competition. I was also honored to be inducted into Sigma Lambda Chi International (SLC), the honor society for construction. Through it all, I didn’t just study construction—I built confidence, voice, and purpose. I’m deeply proud of the woman I’m becoming—someone who dared to dream big and worked even harder. Crossing the stage was a moment I’ll never forget—it felt like everything I’ve worked for, coming together. Thank you to everyone who stood by me—your support meant more than words can say. Del E.
