After 30 years away from construction, Paul Devlin reflects on how the industry can transform with a focus on data and productivity. The UK construction industry is vast, yet has a reputation for being behind the times in terms of digitalisation. Having returned to it after almost 30 years, I can see why. There is clearly an appetite for change. Since I first began my career in construction as a young apprentice plumber, very little has changed.

Q. How do you feel the league campaign went? Meghan: We had a shaky start to the beginning of our league campaign, losing our opening two games to Roscommon and Wexford.

Down continued their winning ways at Round 3 of the Ulster U14 Festival of football on Saturday at Liatroim Fontenoys Co. Down. Down's U14s were keen to build on last week's good performances against Donegal and Antrim by taking on Monaghan and Fermanagh, this time at home. Liatroim GAC were the hosts for Round 3 of the U14 Festival of football and their excellent facilities, leant itself to some great football. Down took on Fermanagh in the first game.
Double score win for Down as Louth dispatched in Ardglass

Down emerged victorious against Louth at their St Patrick's Day Lidl National Football League Division Three round six clash at Ardglass. Down had to beat Louth and hope that Antrim would do them a favour by taking points from joint leaders Clare, to have any chance of keeping their promotion dream alive this season. While Louth were still looking over their shoulders and needed a win to secure their Division Three status.
Down U16's two point win over Derry

Downs U16 ladies secured a second win in the Ulster Ladies U16 Football Championship on Saturday away against Derry at Knockloughrim. After racking up 28 points, that included five goals, against Cavan last time out, things would prove to be a lot tighter in this second round match against the highly rated Derry side.
Five goals in Four Minutes seals Down win over Fermanagh

A devastating five goal haul in a four minute spell, by Down's impressive forwards set the tone for a goal fest in Irvinestown on Saturday in their Ulster Ladies Minor Football Championship clash with Fermanagh. An early Fermanagh goal had put the Ernesiders ahead in the game, but that was quickly wiped out, with goals from Dundrum's Maebh Coughlan and Carryduff's Cara Donnelly who cut the Fermanagh defence open several times to find the back of the net.
Down return from Offaly with nine point win

Down were too strong for an Offaly side looking to use home advantage to get back on level terms with the league leaders, with a win against in form Down yesterday at Ferbane GAA grounds. However Down had to win to keep them within touching distance of the top two and leave them with any chance of promotion. Natasha Ferris opened the scoring from a free that was quickly cancelled out by Offaly's Elle McEvoy converting a free of her own.
Down dominate in 5 goal win over Cavan

Down had a resounding win over Cavan at the weekend in the first round of the Ulster Ladies U16 Championship. A dominant display, that included a devastating spell of three goals in the space of five minutes either side of half time, saw Down U16s win in the opening round of the U16 Championship against Cavan on Saturday at Burren.
