DiscussionIn the EAGLE trial, patients undergoing initial CLE were almost 5 times more likely to have better long-term IOP control and 10 times more likely to be free of drops or surgery as compared with those undergoing LPI as initial management of PAC with high IOP or PACG with IOP 21 mm Hg or greater (table 4).
