Gerald Malone — pictured here for the first time — walked free from Craigavon Crown Court despite pleading guilty to having more than 70 indecent images and videos of kids being abused, including a toddler being raped. Although the judge described the abuse of very young children including toddlers as “particularly repugnant”, she added that in the case of Malone, he had accepted his guilt at an early stage, he had a clear record and good victim empathy for those being abused.
