The Procurement Act 2023 has now come into force across England and Wales, having been delayed by the new Labour government. Originally due to be in force from October 2024, the incoming government decided to take another look at the regulations to ensure they aligned with its direction of travel. Following some tweaks to the language, the new rules have now come into force - but will the changes have any practical impact? In short, the answer is nobody knows.

P3 professionals from across the Americas have come together in New York to celebrate their successes at the most prestigious night in the P3 industry. Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate performed well, with its projects such as the Kansas City International Airport scheme and its University of Nevada, Reno, project picking up awards. Meanwhile, it received a Highly Commended in the hard fought Sponsor/Developer Of The Year category, which was again won by Plenary Americas.
