New Anime-Style Alien Fan Film By Animator Paul Johnson

English animator has previously made anime-style fan films inspired by Star Wars, Doctor Who and R-Type/ Paul "OtaKing" Johnson, an English animator who creates "retro anime-styled 2D animation films," has released an anime-style Alien fan film. The film is called Alien: Monday, and runs 19 minutes, including just under four minutes of end credits.

Coming through Woking this week is the touring production of Bonnie and Clyde and it is the West End version at the Garrick Theatre which starred Gordon Luke Cage and Frances Mayli-McCann (virtually on Leicester Square) that Surrey’s audiences are lucky to see.

This is the first of two entries into this year’s Easter full length play festival on the Isle of Man by White Cobra Theatre Company. I suspect the reigning champions are planning something special with their portrayal of The Father tomorrow evening . (we shall wait and see).Watch this space. For now it’s that reliable four-hander that teaches us all about the roles that women took during WWII… on and off the clock.

The 2000 murder of George followed a few months later by the 2001 storming of the Capitol building in Washington were enough to get actor / writer June Carryl’s fingers tapping on her keyboard. The result was Blue which spent summer 2023 at the Edinburgh Fringe (Where it won a Fringe First Award). The play is still sixty minutes long and (not surprisingly) runs through without an interval.

It is a play I have wished to see for a very long time and first caught my attention many years ago when it was at Wyndhams Theatre for a period, with more than one cast. This was principally an example of the cast being the initial attraction.
