A soccer fan tragically lost his life after falling from the stands during the Nations League final between Portugal and Spain in Munich on Sunday, June 8, as confirmed by UEFA. The incident occurred when the fan fell from the central tier into the press area located in the lower tier during the first half of extra time. Emergency services and police quickly arrived to provide assistance. A UEFA spokesperson reported a “medical emergency” and sadly confirmed that a fan had died during the match.
