Where good news shinesRoy Edwards added another stick to his Buffaloes' bag. The Colorado men's golf coach said Friday the Buffs signed USC transfer Jackson Rivera to a financial aid agreement. Rivera, a graduate student, will join the Colorado squad in the fall. Rivera was a four-time All-American at the same San Diego-area high school as current Buffs senior Justin Biwer. Rivera will have one season of eligibility at CU unless the NCAA grants him a medical hardship waiver.

Where good news shinesAdam Paniagua and Travis Farrell ruled the 2025 RMAC baseball circuit. A senior at Regis, Paniagua was named Player of the Year while Farrell, a senior at CSU Pueblo, was named Pitcher of the Year Wednesday. A Phoenix native, Paniagua leads NCAA Division II baseball with 96 RBIs. He also ranked in the top 10 in batting average (.437), home runs (26), runs scored (71) and slugging percentage (.958). He had multiple RBIs in 11 of 12 games to open March.

The Air Force junior thrower was named Mountain West men's field athlete of the week Tuesday — the third time this season he's won the award. A native of Sheridan, Wyo., Tanner won first place in the hammer and discus while adding a top-three finish in the shot put. He won the hammer event with a throw of 73.67 meters. He finished second in the shot put at 18.20 meters.
