A San Diego State professor who sexually harassed at least four female students, asking one to dress as a French maid, no longer works at the university. NBC 7 Investigates learned late Tuesday that Professor Vincent Martin was either fired or resigned last Thursday. Just months after Martin started work at SDSU in fall 2011, a female student accused Martin of harassment.

I admit it: I’m a serial misplacer. I’ve lost my car keys more times that I can remember. If I had a dollar for every time a server ran after me with the credit card I’d left behind, I’d be debt-free. After repeatedly misplacing my wallet, I adopted a loss-avoidant hack by putting my driver’s license and one credit card in my pants’ pocket. Then I kept forgetting to remove them before putting my pants in the laundry hamper.

If I had a dollar for every time a server ran after me with the credit card I’d left behind, I’d be debt-free. After repeatedly misplacing my wallet, I instead kept my driver’s license and one credit card in my pants pocket. But I consistently forgot to remove them before putting my pants in the washer. A friend suggested an iPhone sleeve to hold my driver’s license and credit card. That also worked.

The fact that I can write this story is something of a medical miracle. On July 30, I was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital’s trauma unit, disoriented, unable to speak coherently, and afraid I might never talk again. Within 12 hours, I could clearly communicate with my wife and the medical professionals who restored my brain functioning — and possibly saved my life — thanks to an amazing drug that can reverse brain injury and prevent permanent disability.

This is no way to run a city — or a state. If these “campers” refuse to clean up after themselves, then ⁦@MayorToddGloria⁩ and ⁦@CAgovernor⁩ should do it, now. https://t.co/knPyuCcfrm

I think many property owners will support this effort to overturn the @CityofSanDiego’s trash fee. But getting a majority or owners to submit a protest vote is a very heavy lift. I think the better strategy is to persuade the council to lower the fee, at its April 14 hearing. https://t.co/AJen1OkN90
