Debattinnlegg Aarnæs Historiske Selskab har med interesse fulgt debatten om Schiefloegården. Den inngår som en del av trehusmiljøet på Årnes sammen med Årnes Gamle skole, Apotekgården, Fagernes, Aanerudgården, Solberggården og Årnes stasjon. Den samlede trehusbebyggelsen danner en fin ramme rundt Trekanten park foran Nes Rådhus. Aarnæs Historiske Selskab har i utgangspunktet støttet bevaring av bygget i et avisinnlegg i 2022.
