Everest pitcher Addison Kluck threw a perfect game, striking out 14, as the Evergreens defeated Menomonie 6-0 in a WIAA Division 1 softball sectional final Thursday at Woyak Park. D.C. Everest (25-2) qualifies for its first-ever trip to the WIAA State Softball Tournament, which will be held at Goodman Diamond in Madison from June 11-14. The Evergreens will play a Division 1 quarterfinal on Wednesday, June 11. Seedings and matchups will be announced Friday.
