Wahoo’s first touchscreen bike computer, the Elemnt Ace, has a large and responsive 3.8-inch screen, with improved colour depth over previous Wahoo computers, allowing the brand to add more map detail. Its novel feature is a wind pressure sensor, which provides wind speed data on-screen and for post-ride analysis. Given the screen size, it’s no surprise that the Wahoo Elemnt Ace is a large unit, weighing 206g, with the alloy mount adding another 60g.

Allied Cycle Works has launched an update to its Able gravel race bike, claiming the new bike is engineered for speed, performance and versatility. The new bike boasts clearance for tyres up to 57mm wide, thanks to dropped chainstays and wide stance fork legs, along with a new carbon frame with in-frame storage. Bentonville, Arkansas-based Allied says that its redesign is aimed at the most technical gravel races.

Poc’s new Cadence road cycling range includes its new Novus seat pad, which it designed from scratch based on its own research. Poc says that the patent pending Novus pad, which comes in men’s and women’s versions, is significantly wider than usual and designed so that its performance is maintained with repeated use. The Novus pad incorporates a gel layer and channel relief that Poc says assist pressure management between the saddle and the rider.

Wahoo has announced the third generation of its Elemnt Roam and Bolt cycling computers. The Elemnt Roam 3 now includes a touchscreen, as well as updated navigation and route management functionality. The Bolt 3, meanwhile, continues its button interface. It focusses on ease of use, low weight and aerodynamics for performance riders and entry-level pricing for riders looking for their first cycling computer. The Elemnt Roam 3 is priced at £399.99 and the Bolt 3 at £299.99 in the UK.
