Calm…Quiet…Peaceful…Which is why “Tranquilo” is the perfect name for the course at the Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. Look, I’ve been going to Disney since I can remember. It’s kind of what you just do as a native Floridian. You go to the beach and you go to Disney. But I never knew this type of world-class golf was located right in the heart of the magic. I mean, it’s so close to Magic Kingdom that you can actually hear the Stream Train while you putz around the track.

Every now and then, a golf course comes along that completely resets your expectations – where you leave wondering how in the world does this place exist, and how have I not played it until now? That was my reaction following my first round at Eagle Springs Golf Resort in Eagle, Wisconsin. To me Eagle Springs is, without question, the biggest hidden gem in Wisconsin golf. The architecture, the setting, the history – it’s all incredible. And yet, somehow, this place still flies under the radar.
