Sqn Ldr Dave Kerrison, one of the organisers, said there had been lots to enjoy. The event was first held in 1978, and has run most years since then.

Telford Pride has returned to the Shropshire town after more than a decade. The event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community is being held at The Three Furnaces bar on Saturday until 22:30 BST with live music, activities and cabaret. Kieron Morgan-Williams decided to bring back the event, feeling there was nowhere for the community to gather in the area. He said that the festival had taken a lot of planning but the stress "disappeared" when he saw everyone eating, having fun and singing along to songs.
