@NakedKeynes @NewsHour I sat for an interview. Had staff arrange for a special room on campus, fit this into my busy schedule, etc. Solman wrote to tell me they weren’t going to use any of it because: “They present way too much of a challenge to the current economic dogma about debt.”

Not if they're owned by a for-profit firm, but for-profit firms can enter into agreements to manage nonprofit hospitals and take a fee for doing so. They can also enter into joint ventures with nonprofit hospitals.
