Those images and videos which show beautiful people exercising (or, at least, pretending to work out) might have a person shining a harsher light on themselves. Then there's the other extreme, with people sharing body-positive images. It sounds like a good thing, but the downside to loving the body is that the focus is still on appearance.

Gildan Activewear Inc.'s former chief executive officer said he has a strategy to nearly double the clothing maker's profits by 2028 if he returns to the job - and that investors will be better off with his plan than selling the company to the highest bidder. Glenn Chamandy, who was fired in December after a bitter fight with board members over succession, said that under his leadership, the Canadian company would borrow more, accelerate stock buybacks and eschew large acquisitions.

"This is the real Shanghai," offered a new Shanghainese friend after Samuel Guì Yang's fall 2024 fashion show, which marked the designer's return to the runway since July of 2022. The space was a Shikumen-style mansion that served as a school back in the '20s, the heyday of the architectural style that first appeared in the 1860s and combined Western and Chinese stylistic elements during the colonies. Merging the East and West is Yang's specialty.

That his dog was seeking him out in her dying moments. He had rescued a little girl from a dog fighting puppy mill, and raised her by himself until we met. I instantly loved her and for a year into our relationship I got to watch the two of them build trust and train and play everyday. She was his whole life as when he saved her, he had no one else regarding family or friends, in a very depressed state. Around our 1 year anniversary she got sick.
