We are now two for two in terms of shows with the word “North” in them that have perfect critic scores on Rotten Tomatoes for their respective streaming services. The first I’ve already covered, North of North, the indigenous comedy that’s on Netflix. Now, we have The Narrow Road to the Deep North on Amazon Prime Video, very much not a comedy, but one that has currently grabbed a perfect 100% review score as well, and premieres on Friday, April 18.

Ever since the debut of Marathon’s gameplay this past weekend, “discourse” has been swirling about how the game looks, and it’s a bit burying your head in the sand to say most chatter wasn’t majority negative. This ranges from very pointless “the clones are woke” debates to actual criticism of how it seems to play, and how it might perform in the larger competitive PvP industry at a higher price point and a somewhat content-bare launch. Little cozy puzzle games are not exactly my thing these days. I’m a looter shooter person, as many people know. More recently I’ve been dismembering people in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Before that, mass demon slaughter in Path of Exile 2. Blue Prince? Blue Prince has changed me to my core. I’ve never played a game like this. When I started, I compared it to a combination of Myst and Gone Home, but mix in roguelike elements and the end result is not comparable to anything really. Outer Wilds maybe?

Well, that time was yesterday. Not too shabby. Bungie has revealed the real name of the codeword Apollo expansion, actually called The Edge of Fate.

It’s hard to understate just how much better the last two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again were compared to the ones became before. Finally free of a semi-aborted original draft storyline, the new showrunners got to do whatever they wanted in full, and what they wanted, apparently, was to make the best MCU season finale since the Loki season 2 finale, which is a high bar.

Coming straight from a person who played the game at the preview event (@LukeStephensTV) the 4th map will be set on the Marathon ship and will “be revolutionary” within the genre. https://t.co/cecPph5H7g
