Visitation will be held Sunday, June 29, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home in Washington. The family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Greenleaf, Kansas, with Pastor Randy Jahnke officiating.

EDP Renewables provided these funds, totaling $304,500. The funds will support innovative projects that enhance the quality of life of citizens in Cloud County. To be considered, each organization had to apply by sending an application to the Cloud County Courthouse.

The museum opened in 2001 and is in the former Auld Chevrolet Company Building. “It hasn’t been an easy decision to shutter the Farm Machinery Museum,” said Joy Luthi Shandy, Wakefield Museum Association president.

The forecasted heat index could reach 106 degrees.
