President-elect Donald Trump was welcomed back to the world stage on Saturday, sitting down with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskiy and French President Emmanuel Macron with a dramatic backdrop: the reopening of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. President-elect Donald Trump met with French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday ahead of the reopening of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, which was devastated by fire in 2019.
