    Townsend Atelier is pleased to announce Outside of the Watercolor Box, an art exhibition featuring the works of eighteen Region III members of the Tennessee Watercolor Society. The public is invited to an opening reception on: Friday, October 11 from 5:30-8 pm at Townsend Atelier in the Arts Building located at 301 East 11th Street.   Works will be on view through the month of October and can be viewed M-F from 10am-4 pm or by appointment.

    You are invited to a  very special evening filled with poetry and an important conversation on housing and homelessness in our community.   Local poet Moll King will read her original poetry from "As You Did to The Leased of These", a collection of poems on housing and homelessness in Chattanooga at the Wednesday evening event, held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Townsend Atelier in the Arts Building at 301 E. 11th Street. Guest poet Nikki Lake will also perform.

    Townsend Atelier is pleased to announce RESONANCE, a solo exhibition of new works by Elena Burykina. The exhibition features paintings on aluminum, paper, panel, and canvas. The public is invited to the opening reception March 1 from 5:30 to 9 pm. Elena Burykina is visual artist based in Chattanooga. Elena always wanted to be an artist. As a child in Ukraine, she received a classical art education which she used for over a decade as an architect.
