Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), as a powerful spectroscopic analysis tool, has the capability to provide information on material fine structures and chemical compositions [1], [2]. Although the Raman signal of molecules is usually weak, the following two enhancement mechanisms are well-known to achieve an order of magnitude improvement in the Raman signal. The dominant mechanism is electromagnetic enhancement mechanism (EM) specific to noble metal substrates [3].

AbstractPreclinical and clinical translational research supports the role of an ω-3 fatty acid diet for prostate cancer prevention and treatment. The anti-prostate cancer effects of an ω-3 diet require a functional host g-protein coupled receptor 120 (GPR120) but the underlying effects on the tumor microenvironment and host immune system are yet to be elucidated.
