1 Introduction Thermospheric mass density is an essential parameter in the earth's thermosphere and can cause atmospheric drag force on Low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. As a typical non-conservative force, atmospheric drag is the fundamental perturbation source of satellites, and it has a constant and considerable effect on the satellites, such as orbit determination, collision warning, and motion safety (Doornbos, 2012).
