Have you seen this yellow and black mobility scooter? It was stolen from out the front of a house in Murray Bridge sometime between 7.30pm last Thursday and 2.30am the following morning. Anyone who sees the Merits-brand scooter should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperssa.com.au. Meanwhile, a shipping container full of construction equipment has been broken into at Mannum Showground.

A dozen makers around Murray Bridge have shown off their creations as part of a Trail of Creativity around town over the weekend. The number of people following the trail, formerly the Murray Bridge Stall Crawl, was rather limited this time around, perhaps due to the cool weather. But it still gave creators an opportunity to show what amazing work they could do.

The Murraylands’ representative in Canberra, federal MP Tony Pasin, has lost his spot in the Coalition’s shadow ministry as he begins another stint in opposition. The Liberals and Nationals revealed a new-look line-up under incoming Opposition Leader Sussan Ley last week. Mr Pasin did not receive a portfolio – or focus area – and will instead sit on the backbench. He had previously served as the opposition’s roads and road safety spokesman under Peter Dutton.
